Madison

Kenneth Edmund Huminski, of Madison, passed away on Aug. 22. He was born on Sept. 21, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, son of Edmund Alexander Huminski and Leona Camilla (Krzyminski) Huminski.

“Kenny” graduated from the University of Connecticut after East Haven High School and was a member of the Chi Phi fraternity there. Throughout his life he worked in the used car business, where he loved the camaraderie; coached little league sports; played softball at the Surf Club with his friends, brothers, nephew Louis Mastrachio (brother of niece Luann Carbone) and sons; and loved the beach, music, making meatballs, and especially being in the company of family, which he often was. No one could resist his charming personality and it brought a smile to your face every time you were with him. He brought love and laughter into the hearts of so many, including his beloved friends and family, who will forever feel his loss.

He is survived by his sons and their spouses Tim and Suzie of Madison and Eric and Kim of Guilford; siblings Joyce Mastrachio, Nancy Hartzell, and Barry and Michael Huminski; grandchildren Eric, Noah, Heather, Edmund, and Mary; and his ex-wife Peggy Huminski of Madison.
