East Haven

Paul W. Priolo, Sr., 81, of East Haven, beloved husband of 51 years to Frances Affie Zullo Priolo, passed away on Aug. 5 surrounded by his family at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

He was the loving father of Alfred J. (Roseann) Zullo, Sr., of Madison, Anthony Zullo of East Haven, Sharon (James Nesdale) Priolo of North Haven, and Paul W. Priolo, Jr., of East Haven. He was the grandfather of Alfred J. Zullo, Jr., Joseph H. (Danielle Feely) Zullo, Jason Zullo, and Candice Mott. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Marilyn (Allen) Milsop of South Windsor. Paul was born in New Haven on July 1, 1938, son of the late William and Freida Neubauer Priolo.

Prior to his retirement Paul was a truck driver for 38 years for Eder Brothers and then Acme Auto Leasing. Paul served in the Army for two years in France. Paul loved going to the casino, loved to talk about cars, and loved animals.

Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service at All Saints Cemetery on Aug. 9 at 11:30 a.m. in Section 12. Friends may call at the Porto Funeral Home, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven, on Aug. 9 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
