George Edward Miller, 63, passed away peacefully on Aug. 1. He was born Aug. 23, 1955, in New Haven. George grew up in Killingworth.

He worked more than 40 years in sales and developed many fond relationships. George was his happiest when he was out on the water fishing with family and friends. The loves of his life were his two dogs, Jake and Marley, who gave him so much joy.

George was predeceased by his parents David George Miller and Judith Ann Miller and his brother Steven Miller, all of Killingworth. He is survived by his wife Sandra S. Miller of Old Saybrook, his brother Mark and sister-in-law Pam Miller of Deland, Florida, and his sister Tracy and brother-in-law Salvatore GionFriddo of Deland, Florida. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and -nephews, whom he enjoyed spending time with.

There will be a Service of Remembrance to celebrate George’s life on Oct. 5 at the Congregational Church in Killingworth, Rte. 81, at 10 a.m.
