Guilford

Albina Pauzano, 99, longtime resident of Guilford, passed away on June 8 at The Hearth at Tuxis Pond, Madison, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Pauzano, wife of the late Louis Pauzano, was born in New York, New York on Nov. 16, 1919, one of seven daughters born to the late Mauro Grisolia and Leontina (Bruno) Grisolia.

Albina was the loving mother of Louis Pauzano and his wife Louise Pauzano of Lindenhurst, New York; Annette Muszynski and her husband Peter of Guilford; and the late John Pauzano and his widow Inge-Lise Pauzano of Guilford.

She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by grandson Michael Pauzano.

She enjoyed being with her family. Prior to moving to Guilford she volunteered at several hospital thrift shops in New York. She spent many hours volunteering at the Hole in the Wall and the Guilford House. She was a member of the Guilford Senior Center and a faithful parishioner of St. George Church.

Calling hours were held on June 12 at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St., Guilford, followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St., Guilford.
