Macarious (Carrie) Buchanan, 74, of Inverness, Florida, died suddenly March 14 after a brief illness. She was born in New Britain.

Carried lived most of her life in Clinton. After retirement she moved to Inverness, Florida. Carrie worked for then Chesebrough-Pond’s and the Morgan High School as a job coach.

She leaves behind her beloved husband Larry Buchanan to whom she was married for 53 years; her daughters Janette Cameron and husband Brendan, and Tina Buchanan and grandson Joey Hawkes; her sister Maureen Merola and husband Albert; and special friend Ken Sprinkle.

A Memorial Service will be held June 22 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s in Clinton. A potluck will follow in Church Hall. If you are coming to the potluck, please let us know at 860-662-6310.
