Linda Rakich Mulcahy, 69, of Northford passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 3 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford, after a long-term illness. She was the beloved wife of Robert “Moe” Mulcahy. Linda was born in New Haven on Sept. 16, 1949, and was the daughter of Ralph Rakich, Sr., and the late Doris Rubano Rakich.

She obtained a bachelor’s degree and worked as an assistant business manager for Yale University. She liked cats and enjoyed riding their Harley-Davidson with her husband.

She was the sister of Joyce Therieault and the late Ralph Rakich, Jr., and Ronald Rakich.

The visiting hours were May 8 at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave. A service was conducted, with the Rev. Timothy Meehan officiating. Interment was private and at the convenience of the family.
