Wethersfield

Logan Todd Haskins, 51, of Wethersfield, passed away May 4 at St. Francis Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Meriden, “Todd” was a son of Howard “Skip” Haskins and the late Jeanie (Logan) Haskins of Chester.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Connie (Kisling) Haskins, and their sons Noah and Luke, all of Wethersfield. Todd also leaves his brother Breton Haskins and his wife Megan, and their daughters Caroline and Grace, all of Essex; his brother-in-law James Kisling, Sr., and his wife Christine, and their sons James, Jr., his fiancée Heaven, and Joseph of Waterford; along with his great-nephew James III of Waterford. He also leaves cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, from both sides of the family, as well as his many friends within the community whom Todd also considered his family.

Todd was a stay-at-home dad, whose whole world was his boys and cycling. He spent his life working around bikes in retail, learning to build bikes, and had a tremendous passion for mountain biking. He also enjoyed coaching soccer for Wethersfield Parks and Recreation and being involved in the kids’ school functions. During his nine plus years of his journey with cancer, he continued to raise awareness about colon cancer through blogging, organizing fundraising rides, and helping the kids in the neighborhood with a lemonade stand for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
