Angela Economy, 91, of Westbrook passed away on March 7. She was born on Jan. 1, 1928, in Romania, the daughter of Nikolaos and Athena Floratos. She was the widow of William Economy.

Angela is survived by her daughter Zoe Stevens and her husband Mike of Haddam Neck; sister Diana Stratidis of Old Saybrook; brother Spiros Floratos of Greece; grandsons Zachary and Jason Stevens; nieces and nephews Tina, Tony, and Evan Stratidis, and Christina Macrini; her loving caregiver Tina Lee; and many other nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on March 12 at 11 a.m. in St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 200 Hempstead St., New London. Burial followed in Cypress Cemetery, Westbrook. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Sophia Church.
