William A. Blaha, age 90, passed away March 9 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. He is survived by his wife Janet S. Blaha; daughter Bonnie A. Blaha; brothers Gordon Blaha and Kenneith Blaha; sister Janet Blaha Hodder; and nieces and nephews.

Bill was a city carrier with the Guilford Post Office for 40 years. Bill was very active in the New Haven Hiking Club, and the Appalachian Mountain Club. He led and patriciapated in many trips for these groups. The activities included hiking, biking, canoeing, cross-country skiing, and camping. He also enjoyed sailing on Long Island Sound.

He will be missed by his many friends.
