Alice Meron Floyd of Madison passed away peacefully at Yale-New Haven Hospital on Feb. 10. She was the wife of the late Howard Oscar Floyd. She was born on March 17, 1928, in Glens Falls, New York, to the late Edward and Stella (Jackowski) Meron of Hudson Falls, New York.

Alice was a graduate of Syracuse University. Throughout her life, faith, family, and friends were important to her.

She is survived by three children, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandson. She leaves behind many cousins.

A Funeral Mass was held at St. Margaret’s Church, celebrated by the Reverend Daniel J. McLearen. Burial was in West Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Madison Ambulance Association, 9 Old State Highway 79, Madison, CT 06443. Arrangements in the care of the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St., Guilford.
