Joseph Milton Marino of Guilford passed away on Feb. 14. Joseph was born in Waterbury on Oct. 15, 1939, son of Emedio and Frances Marino of North Branford.

Joe graduated from East Haven High School and Connecticut School of Electronics. He was a US Air Force veteran and served in the US and Europe during the Vietnam Era. He subsequently worked at EDO and Barnes Engineering as an electronics technician. He was a long-time member of the New Haven Sportsman’s Club, where he was a vice president and a major contributor to the growth of that club. He was a voracious reader, a student of history, and an avid collector of military memorabilia. Cooking and outdoor sports were other passions.

Joe is survived by his daughter Gina Marino of Florida; his son Michael Marino of Pennsylvania; his brother David Marino (Geneanneu) of South Carolina; and his sister Madelyn Marino of Branford. He is also survived by five grandsons, Nick, Joey Mathew, Tristan, and Michael Marino, Jr.
