Guilford

Pamela Gale Coale, 72, longtime resident of Guilford, passed away Jan. 11 at Yale-New Haven Hospital after numerous health struggles. Pamela was born in New Haven on July 9, 1946, daughter of the late William Gale Coale and Mildred Cullen Coale.

She was the loving mother of Lisa Cowles of Clinton and Robin Cowles of Florida. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Devan Cowles-Garcia. She was the sister of William G. Coale II and Robert M. Coale.

Pamela was known for her wit, and her artistic and musical ability, and her daily win over the New York Times crossword puzzle. Our Mom is now with her angels, peaceful, and in her new pain free spiritual body, dancing and watching over us.

Our sincerest gratitude to the following for their compassionate and enduring support in her times of need: Guilford Ambulance, Guilford Social Services, Meals on Wheels, and Companions and Homemakers.

A memorial service will be held in July 2019 at Mulberry Point in Guilford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Guilford Meals on Wheels and Guilford Food Pantry, Guilford Interfaith Volunteers, 310 State St., Unit 200, Guilford, CT 06437. Arrangements in the care of the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St., Guilford. To share a memory or leave a message of condolence for the family, please visit www.GuilfordFuneralHome.com.
