Marsha Joyce Fox, 58, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away in hospice care Dec. 3 in Spring Hill. She was born in Meriden on March 28, 1960, moving with her family to Clinton, and attending Clinton public schools. She lived in Pomfret for several years before later moving to Florida, where she attended school to become a groomer of animals. She met her partner Richard Maass when he brought her his dog for a grooming.

Marsha was a survivor of a double-lung transplant, which eventually failed. She was an accomplished and gifted jewelry maker and a lifelong lover of all God’s creations.

She is survived by Maass; her mother Mildred Steinfeldt of Clinton; her sister Linda Johnson of Westbrook; her brother James Fox of Gorham, Maine; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Stuart Fox, Sr., of Clinton, her sister Suzanne Hartkey of Middletown, and her brother Stuart Fox, Jr., of Clinton.

A celebration of Marsha’s life was held in New Port Richey, Florida.
