She was the loving mother of Michele Papero of Branford and Lynn Calabrese of North Branford; the grandmother of Olivia and Nadia Calabrese; and the sister of Dr. Edward (Lois) Goglia of Hamden and the late David Goglia. Joyce was born in New Haven on Oct. 28, 1941, daughter of the late Edward and Anna Cerqua Goglia.
