Chester

Adrienne Irene Jameson Kerwick, 81, of Chester, joined the world of Angels on Dec. 14. She was born on Sept. 2, 1937, in Milo, Maine.

She retired after more than 30 years as a devoted employee of Deep River Oil and a close friend of the owners Barbara and Buddy Platt.

This devoted mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother is survived by her older brother Maurice and her younger sister Christine. She was the daughter of Leonard and Myrtle (Allen) Jameson (both deceased). She was the best mother and is survived by five children, Donna of Ivoryton, Jesse of Florida, Carl of San Francisco, and Brenda and Carol Ann of Chester. She also had three grandchildren, Jessica DaRe, and Erica and Jakob Kasimir; and two great-grandchildren, James and Lukas Comier who will forever miss her. She was also loved by a large extended family; her four deceased brothers are survived by wonderful families that all live locally.

A memorial service will be held on Dec. 19 at 10:00 a.m. at The United Church of Chester, 29 W. Main St. in Chester. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., I-91 Tech. Ctr., Rocky Hill, CT 06067, or to the Middlesex Hospital Hospice Program, 28 Crescent St., Middletown, CT 06457.
