Robina W. McConnell, 81, of East Haven passed away peacefully on Dec. 4 in Connecticut Hospice. She was born in New Haven on Dec. 12, 1936, a daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth DiVito Rupp. Robina is survived by her husband James W. McConnell, Sr., of 62 loving years.

Robina owned her own ceramic studio and loved her girls.

She was the cherished sister of David (Sharon) DiVito of East Haven. She also leaves behind her beloved son James (Deborah) McConnell, Jr., of Bethlehem. She was predeceased by a daughter, Lori Sheltman. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Charles Sheltman III, Meghan (Paul) Dilworth, James Sheltman, Thea, McConnell, and Jacqueline Sheltman, and Ian McConnell.

Her funeral procession left the Porto Funeral Home, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven, Dec. 7. Services were held in the Old Stone Church in East Haven. Interment followed in East Lawn Cemetery.
