Louis M. Albarella, 101, of Sun City, Florida, formerly of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Nov. 30 at his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy Weber Albarella. Louis was born in Shelton on Sept. 4, 1917, and was the son of the late Frank and Pasqualina Albarella.

He worked as a mechanic for many years at Adley Express and most recently as a utility custodian for South Central Community College. He also loved swimming and watching hockey.

He was the father of Louis (Theresa) Albarella, Frank (Karen) Albarella, and Debra (Vito) Golino. He was the grandfather of Louis, Michael (Kate), and Amanda Albarella, Nicole and Samantha Golino, and the late Robert Albarella. He was the great-grandfather of Marissa, Maria, Max, and Rex Albarella. He was predeceased by his sisters Mary Jordan, Margaret Angelo, Bertha Riccio, and a brother, Michael Albarella.

Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., on Dec. 15 at 10:30 a.m. Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Life Path Hospice at Sun City, 3725 Upper Creek Dr., Ruskin, FL 33573.
