William (Bill) G. Perkowski II, 47, of Niantic passed away unexpectedly Oct. 1. Bill was born Feb. 25, 1971, to William G. Perkowski and Carol A. Dudla.

An avid fisherman, hunter, and traveler, Bill’s real and abiding love was for his family and friends, creating everlasting memories. He was always quick to lend a hand to others, and would literally give the shirt off his back, even to a stranger. Bill was a selfless and beautiful soul taken much too soon.

Bill is survived by his father William G. Perkowski; his mother Carol A. Dudla; his brother Aric B. Perkowski; his sister, Kristen H. Goiangos; and many nieces and nephews.

Bill’s life will be celebrated during a private memorial service by his immediate family.
