Catherine Eden Prather died on Oct. 11 in Bangor, Maine. She was born in Bristol on March 21, 1953. Her school years were spent in Clinton, and she graduated from The Morgan School in 1971. After the death of her beloved husband John (Jack) Prather, she moved to Maine, where she resided for the past 40 years. She worked as a dental technician and was employed at Bangor Dental Technologies. Her fine craftmanship was also applied to her hobbies such as fly tying and tole painting.

Catherine was predeceased by her parents Edith Huff Eden and Edgar L. Eden and two nephews, Timothy L. Truman and Todd L. Truman. She is survived by her four siblings, Carolyn Eden Berlepsch, Donald F. Eden, Margaret A. Eden, and James E. Eden; two nephews; a niece; and their families. A private service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10, at St. Mary’s Cemetery Clinton.
