Romaine Helen Cahoone, of Killingworth, passed away on Sept. 14. She was born on Jan. 4, 1939, in Ashley, Pennsylvania, the daughter of James and Helen Gorham.

Romaine was a registered nurse. She enjoyed knitting and crossword puzzles.

Romaine is survived by her children David Morenski and his wife Cathy Cleary of Ivoryton, James Morenski of Killingworth, and Cindy Morenski of Killingworth; and grandchildren Mercedes Morenski, Michelina Giblin, Alexander Giblin, Nicholas Morenski, Christopher Morenski, and Kyle Morenski. Romaine was the widow of Raymond Morenski and Dick Cahoone. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was also predeceased by her brother John J. Gorham.

Calling hours will be held on Sept. 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Strish Funeral Home, 105 N. Main St., Ashley, Pennsylvania. A graveside service will be held on Monday, Sept. 24 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Cemetery, 1594 S. Main St., Ashley, Pennsylvania.
