Stephen R. Nicosia of Branford, formerly of Guilford, entered into eternal rest on Sept. 16. He was the son of Gloria (Messina) Nicosia of Guilford and the late John Paul Nicosia, Sr. Stephen was born in Lynbrook, New York, on Dec. 23, 1954.

For 30 years Stephen faithfully worked at Yale-New Haven Hospital in the materials management department. He was an avid fan of the New York Mets and a collector of Disney memorabilia. A kind and generous man, Stephen deeply loved his family.

He is survived by his brother, John P. Nicosia, Jr. (Kristen) of Raleigh, North Carolina; sister Lisa Mazzola (Jack) of Madison; and five nieces and nephews.
