Dawne A. Walters, 69, of Kissimmee, Florida, formerly of East Haven, died in Florida on Aug. 9.

She is survived by a husband, Ronald Walters; a daughter, Michelle Walters of Branford; a sister, Carol (David) Johnson of Naples, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Scott J. Walters; a daughter, Barbara A. Walters; her parents, Joseph and Mary Pulit DellaValle; and a brother, James DellaValle.

She worked for Friendly’s of Branford for many years and was a graduate of East Haven High School, class of ‘67.

Funeral services took place on Aug. 17 at the East Haven Memorial Longobardi–Brennan Funeral Home, 425 Main St., East Haven, 203-467-1708. Burial took place in East Lawn Cemetery.
