Dennis J. Testori, 74, passed away on Aug. 28 in Edgewater, Florida. Dennis was born in New Haven to Edward and Amelia Testori of Guilford on July 19, 1944. He married his high school sweetheart Diane Spalty Testori on May 30, 1964, in Guilford.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he served in the Vietnam War. He was a horticulturist for Fonicello’s Home and Garden Center in Guilford for 30 plus years.

Dennis is survived by his wife Diane; his children Mark Testori, Denise Testori, and Jeffrey Testori; his brother Edward Testori and wife Christine of Guilford; Lori Acker-Doyle and her husband Robert Doyle of Durham; and Jeanette Treat and her husband Robert Treat of Middlefield. He is also survived by his grandchildren Erika Gonzalez and her husband Dan Gonzalez, CJ Saunders, and Tanner Testori; his great-granddaughter Gabriella Rose Gonzalez; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A private family memorial will take place in Edgewater, Florida, on Sept. 15. Future plans for a memorial in Connecticut to be determined.
