North Branford

Marjorie Lyn Reder, 54, of North Branford passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 30 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was born on Nov. 23, 1963, in Danbury.

Marjorie was a beautiful soul and a strong fighter, who loved to drink her coffee and bird watch outside her window every morning. She also enjoyed reading Jack Reacher novels, while indulging in a nightly scoop of ice cream.

Marjorie is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Richard R. Reder; two beautiful children, Robert (Melissa Donnelly) of North Branford and Rebecca (Joseph Polcari) also of North Branford; her mother Beverly Bryant Arciuolo of Laurel, Delaware; a brother, Christopher Kasack, also of Laurel, Delaware; a sister, Meghan (Matthew) Berger of Boston, Massachusetts; a grandmother, Majorie Kasack of Bethel; as well as two nephews, several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends. They will all always carry her strength with them. She was predeceased by her father Conrad Kasack.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the nursing staff at Yale-New Haven Hospital for their continued years of service.
