Rose Carrano, 93, of Ashford died on May 26 at Orchard Grove Specialty Care after suffering with Alzheimer’s disease for many of her later years. She was the wife of the late Nicholas Carrano. Rose was born in New Haven on May 1, 1925, to the late Pasquale and Sarah Russo.

She leaves a daughter, Theresa, and her husband Philip Maiorana of Ashford. She was predeceased by a brother, Louis Russo.

Funeral Services took place on May 30 at the East Haven Memorial Longobardi–Brennan Funeral Home, 425 Main St., East Haven, 203-467-1708. Burial was in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
