Guilford

Maurice D. Hull, 88, longtime resident of Guilford, passed away peacefully on Aug. 2 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Catherine (McCabe) Hull. Maurice was born Aug. 1, 1930, in Utica, New York, son of the late Harley and Beatrice (Reynolds) Hull.

He was the father of Bruce (Cathy) Hull of Whitesboro, New York; and Thomas (Kelly) Hull, Keith (Sandra) Hull, Diane (Dave) Hamilton, and Barbara (Ken) Ranciato, all of Guilford. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and a sister-in-law, Marjorie Hull of New York. He was predeceased by his brother Bruce Hull

Mr. Hull proudly served his country in the US Army. Before retiring Mr. Hull worked as a foreman for the Bruning Co. in Guilford. During his retirement years, he drove a school bus in Guilford.

Friends are invited to calling hours on Aug. 10 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St., Guilford. Services will follow immediately at 11 a.m. at the Guilford Funeral Home. Burial with Military Honors will take place in Alder Brook Cemetery, Boston Street, Guilford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
