Deborah Ann Chittenden, 51, of Branford, passed on Aug. 4 at Connecticut Hospice following a brief, but courageous battle with cancer.

She was the beloved wife of Michael Chittenden. Debbie and Mike were partners in life and in business as owners of Big Mike’s Tool Repair in Branford. Married 20 years, they shared a love of antiquing and thrifting, especially for vintage pyrex.

A graduate of Guilford High School, Debbie was devoted to her family and children. She is also survived by her parents David Rock of Guilford and Diane Rock of New Haven; children James (Missy) Lindgren of Ohio, Brittany Lindgren, and Jesse (Jenna) Chittenden of Washington, D.C.; her sister Tracey Yasi of Pennsylvania; adored grandchildren Riley, Evelyn, and Emmett; and nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Debbie’s Life will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Debbie’s memory may be made to Connecticut Hospice of Branford.
