Elizabeth Louise Gutt, 82, of North Chestnut Hill, Killingworth, died May 1 in Hartford Hospital. Ms. Gutt was born on Oct. 9, 1935, in New Haven, the daughter of Henry and Mabel Gutt.

She was a graduate of Hand High School, then went on to work for the State of Connecticut where she retired as a switchboard operator.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on June 23 at 10:30 a.m. in North Madison Congregational Church, 1271 Durham Rd., North Madison 06443, at the circle (www.northmadisoncc.org). Interment will be held at a later date. A reception will follow at the Madison Rod and Gun Club, North Chestnut Hill Road, Killingworth. Donations may be made in her memory to the charity of the donor’s choice. Swan Funeral Home, Madison, is handling the arrangements.
