Mary Brough Ross, 84, of Branford, beloved wife of the late Lowell Ross, passed away on June 16 in Connecticut Hospice. Mary was born in New Haven on Oct. 7, 1933, daughter of the late George and Frieda Rivers Brough.

She was the loving mother of Nena (Vincent) Romano of North Branford, Edward (Anita) Richards of California, and Sharon Hogsfeldt of Guilford. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Marion Cote of North Carolina, Charles (Sandy) Brough of Florida, and the late Alice Gere, and George, Richard, and Morris Brough.

Relatives and friends were invited to a graveside service on June 20 in East Lawn Cemetery. There were no calling hours.
