Mark E. Giordano of Branford died June 17 at Connecticut Hospice. He was the beloved husband of Patricia Crowley Giordano. Mark was born in New Haven Oct. 12, 1961, son of Alfred “Babe” Giordano of Branford, and the late Beatrice Gargamelli Giordano.

Mark grew up in Branford and worked for his father as an excavator. He most recently worked for Maisano Paving. Mark was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he was known and loved by many.

Besides his wife and father, Mark is survived by his sons Mark W.A. Giordano of Keane, New Hampshire, and Anthony Giordano (Jenna Weiss) of Branford; his sisters Germaine (Joseph) Mathis of Branford, Lisa (Daniel) Fiasconaro of Branford, and Nancy (Fred) Connor of Westbrook; his brother Paul Giordano of Branford; his stepmother Dolly Giordano; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and -nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Beatrice Giordano.
