Clinton

Miriam Heath of Clinton, (affectionately called “Mimi” or “Aunt Mimi”), passed away on May 16at the age of 88 with members of her family by her bedside. She was born in Binghamton, New York, on Jan. 29, 1930, the youngest of four daughters.

She was a valued employee of the Connecticut Water Company for 38 years, where she made many life-time friends. She was a faithful member of the First Congregational Church in Madison until her death. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family as well as passions she developed later in her life—the Red Sox, UConn women’s basketball, NASCAR, and her grandchildren’s wrestling and soccer matches.

Mimi is predeceased by her husband Ernie Heath and by her three sisters, Jean Kirkman, Nancy Rutter, and Marilyn Matthies. She leaves her beloved stepdaughter Michelle Altsmannsberger and her husband Eric, as well as their three sons, Robert Norman and fiancée Racheal Mugovero, Brian Norman and his wife Jessica and their two children Jacob and Logan, and Bo Norman and his wife Elizabeth and their daughter Briana, as well as nine nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her dear friend Sheila Dellavecchia, who provided constant care, cheer, and support for many years until her passing.

She will be buried with her parents in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Westfield, Massachusetts.
