Bridget “Bridie” McKeon passed away peacefully after a brief illness on April 12. She was the beloved wife of the late Bernard McKeon. Bridie was born in County Leitrim, Ireland.

She leaves behind her two daughters, AnnMarie Joy (Tom), and Maureen Evans (Mark), and her son, Brian McKeon; and four grandsons, Shane, Brennan, Teague, and Braden. She is survived by her two sisters, Ann Wynne and Bernadette White. She was predeceased by her parents Stephen and Mary (O’Rourke) Wynne; two brothers, Stephen and Michael; and her sister Veronica McMorrow.

Visitation was held on April 15 at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St. in Centerbrook. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on April 16 at Saint Joseph’s Church, 48 Middlesex Ave. in Chester. Burial followed in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Bridie’s name to the Deep River Fire Department, 57 Union St., Deep River, CT 06417.
