Guilford

Connie Filardi, longtime resident of Guilford, passed away peacefully April 14 into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus at Apple Rehab in Guilford, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of John and Rose DiQuattro of New Haven. She was the wife of the late John O. Filardi.

She was the loving mother of Lee Ann Simjian and her husband John of North Branford; and Lynda Corsini and her husband Frank of Guilford. She was the grandmother of Aden Helland; Amber Helland; Morgan Corsini; Tammy Way; Renee Vielleux; and Stacey Collins. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren

Connie worked for many years with her husband’s company, J.F. Builders. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her loving family.

A special thanks to everyone at Apple Rehab of Guilford and Seasons Hospice for their loving care for our Mom.

Friends were invited to a Mass of Christian burial at St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St., Guilford, on April 19. Burial took place privately.
