Craig Allen McCall, age 64, originally from Old Saybrook, passed away March 21 in Steinhatchee, Florida, where he lived for the last 30 years.

The son of Warren and Marlene Fielding McCall Ferguson, he is survived by his three brothers, Michael and Patrick McCall, both residing in Texas, and Warren “Mac” McCall of Westbrook; and by his stepfather Art Ferguson of Essex. He is also survived by many good and dear friends in Steinhatchee, Florida, and Connecticut.

A carpenter and fisherman, Craig loved the outdoors and was a rugged and fun-loving individual with an infectious smile and wit. He will be sorely missed.

Friends and relativaes in Connecticut are invited to an informal gathering at 1552 Essex Rd. (Rte. 153), Westbrook, on Saturday, April 28 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. to share fond memories of Craig.
