Mark A. Gambardella, 61, of East Haven, beloved husband of Lorraine Kelly Conlon, passed away on March 30 surrounded by his family at home. Mark was born in New Haven on Sept. 16, 1956, son of Hilda Coveyduck Gambardella of East Haven and the late Frank Gambardella.

At the time of his death, Mark was the director of operations for Mobilex USA. Mark was president for the Dom Aitro Pony Baseball League. He was involved in the league since going to the Pony World Series as a player. Mark spent countless years devoted to working with inner city children and left his mark on families of New Haven.

He was the loving father and step—father of Anthony and Stephen Gambardella, both of East Haven; Kelly (Mark) Baker of Seymour; and Kimberly (Michael) Warecke of Old Lyme. He was the brother of Susan (Scott) Smith of North Haven. He is also survived by five grandchildren and a niece and nephew.

A celebration of life service was held in the Porto Funeral Home, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven, on April 3. Interment was private. Friends called April 3.
