Milford and North Haven

Paul Albert Savulski, 88, of North Haven, formerly of Milford for many years, passed away on Feb. 14 at his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Doris LeCates Savulski. Paul was born in Bridgeport on May 7, 1929, the son of the late Nicholas and Anna Savulski.

He served his country faithfully in the US Navy during the Korean War. Paul worked for the former Avco Lycoming Textron of Stratford for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed watching the UConn girls’ basketball, going fishing, and horseback riding.

He was the father of Deborah Moquin, Paula Seyler (Richard Ruocco), and Laurie Nargi (Michael). He was the grandfather of Julie Supinski (William), Melissa Muldoon, Wayne Seyler, Heather Nargi (Lisa Gazsi), and Michael Nargi (Emma Blaisdell); and great-grandfather of Alexandria, Kassidy, Richard, Calvin, and Noah. He is also survived by the “Apple of His Eye,” his great-great-granddaughter Aurora. He was predeceased by a sister, Jean Mundle, and brother, William Savulski.

Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., on Feb. 17 at 10:30 a.m. Family and friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lyme Disease Association, Inc., PO Box 1438, Jackson, New Jersey 08527.
