Dale Taylor Jones, age 62, of Chalker Beach in Old Saybrook, the beloved husband of Amanda Ruzycki, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 1. Born Jan. 14, 1955, in Hartford, he was the son of Lloyd and Betty Jones of South Windsor.

Dale proudly served in the US Army and for many years was a parts manager for White Oak Construction. He enjoyed the many miniature Australian shepherds he had during his life. He enjoyed boating, jet skiing, and going to the beach. He loved music and the latest in technology. He also loved working around the house and yard.

Dale is survived by his son Daniel Jones. He is also survived by his brother Michael Jones of Middletown, and his sister Susan Jones of Colchester. He was predeceased by brothers Glen Jones and Scott Jones.
