Rosemary DeAngelo Bartozzi, 83, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Jan. 15 at the Yale-New Haven Hospital with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 49 years to John P. Bartozzi. Rosemary was born in New Haven on Feb. 14, 1934, and was the daughter of the late James Vincent and Mary Snow Montepiano DeAngelo.

She worked as a food service manager for the North Haven School System for 11 years until her retirement. Rosemary enjoyed traveling, going to the casino, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was the mother of Diane and Cheryl Bartozzi; the grandmother of Nicholas Bartozzi, Tyler Gavin, and Haylee Voigt; and the sister of Grace DesRoches, Geraldine, Anthony, and James DeAngelo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Jan. 19 at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
