Dorothy Ann Boreckyj, 84, of Madison and formerly Clinton, died peacefully on Jan. 4 at Watrous Nursing Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Mykola Boreckyj. Dorothy was born in Clinton on March 26, 1933.

Dorothy was a longtime home and daycare provider. She enjoyed dancing and listening to polka music and was an avid fan of her New York Yankees. Her strength and loving endurance will be missed by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her sister Joan and her parents Jeannie and Carl Miller of Clinton. Dorothy is survived by her son Gregory Boretsky, wife Phyllis, and her loving grandchildren Victoria, Nicholas, Monica, and Stephen.
