East Haven

Christopher Joseph Baldino, 50, of East Haven, passed away peacefully Nov. 29 with family members by his side. He was the son of the late Crescenzo and Rose Marie Dorsi Baldino.

 Christopher was a hockey enthusiast and top-tier goalie from childhood to his playing days at Quinnipiac University, where he was affectionately referring to as "Killer" by his devoted teammates. Mr. Baldino was the founder and president of Blue Ribbon Services Inc, a commercial concrete, plumbing, and construction enterprise, where he worked for more than twenty-five years.

He was the beloved brother of Eugene (Diane) Baldino of Rochester, New York, and Carmen (Imelda) Baldino of Woburn, Massachusetts. He was the loving uncle of Elizabeth, Abigail, Michael, Matthew, Christian, and Nicholas. He was the grandson of the late George and Elizabeth Dorsi and Carmine and Josephine Baldino; and the brother-in-law of Mary Ellen Baldino. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

His funeral procession will leave the Porto Funeral Home, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven, Dec. 9 at 8:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
