Robert J. Keller (Kielar), 84, of East Haven passed away peacefully on Nov. 26. He was born March 28, 1933, in New Haven to John and Mary (Prucyznowski) Keller.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary (Magaldi) Keller, and children Mary Sacco of North Haven, Nancy Kilmartin (Mike) of North Haven, Michael Keller (Elvie) of Branford, Tina Mezes (John) of Milford, and Becky Norton (Tony) of East Haven. He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, sons Robert Keller, Jr., and Richard Keller, and his two brothers Peter and John Keller.

Robert was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He retired from the New Haven Board of Education. He enjoyed golf, Polka dancing, playing the accordion, and spending time with his family. He was also a big Yankee fan. He will forever be remembered and greatly missed.

The funeral service and Committal at All Saints Cemetery was private and under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
