Mary Joan McPhee (Messina), 76, of East Haven passed away Nov. 26. She was born June 9, 1941, in New Haven to William and Margaret (Farrell) McPhee.

Mary is survived by her daughter Joan Candelora (Anthony) of North Branford; son Ron Messina; five grandchildren; nieces Debbie McPhee, Coleen Coulombe, Marjore Rayka, and Eileen Bumpus; and a brother, Donald McPhee (Esther) of Hamden. She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Francis Messina, her brother William McPhee, and sister-in-law Eileen McPhee.

Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian burial on Dec. 2 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Main St., Branford. Committal will be private.
