Marie (Knight) Jennett, 84, of Branford passed away with her family by her side on Nov. 1 at Connecticut Hospice. She was born May 11, 1933, in New Haven to the late John and Ubalda (Salani) Knight.

Marie is survived by her two loving children, Renee Jennett of California and Roger Jennett of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Marie is also survived by her grandson Alex Michael Jennett; brothers John Knight (Gloria), Donald Knight, Edward Knight (Marylou), and James Knight; numerous nieces and nephews; and two dear friends, Joan Jarmie and Midge Dilella, both of Branford.

Marie enjoyed cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She was always willing to help others and volunteer her time.

Family and friends were invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian burial on Nov. 7 in St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Main St., Branford, followed by Committal at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. Funeral services were under the care of Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
