Joseph Levatino, 90, of East Haven, died on Oct. 6 at Branford Hills Convalescent Center. He was born in East Haven on March 18, 1927 to the late Rosario S. and Elizabeth Ansaldo Levatino.

He worked at the Sargent Company in New Haven for 40 years until retiring in 1989. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his brother Philip (Anita) Levatino of East Haven and a sister Mary Marcucci of New Haven. He is also survived by a niece and three nephews.
