Robert Morse Bowker, Jr., 61, of Old Saybrook passed away unexpectedly at home on Oct. 11. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, on May 23, 1956, he was the son of Jeane Fiske Bowker of Old Saybrook and the late Robert M. Bowker, Sr.

Bob loved the outdoors; he spent many hours fishing along Long Island Sound. He also enjoyed collecting antiques. Bob was always about helping others, and he was a good listener, nonjudgmental, and humble at heart.

Besides his mother Jeane, he is survived by three brothers, Bruce Bowker of Centerbrook, Paul Bowker of Old Saybrook, and Lewis Bowker and his wife Kim of Old Lyme. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews, Rachael, Alexandra, Amber, Brian, Michael, and Eli.
