Phyllis M. Chase, 89, of East Haven passed away Oct. 3 at Apple Rehab. She was born Oct. 24, 1927, in New Haven to Nazzereno and Theresa (Policino) Ciampini.

Phyllis is survived by her loving son Edward Chase (Victoria) of East Haven and two grandchildren, Alyssa Ann Chase and Jason Palange. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward Chase (2011), and brother Chester Ciampini.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 6 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. The funeral procession will leave Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home at 10:40 a.m. for a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. in St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 385 Townsend Ave., New Haven, with Committal to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven.
