Mary Patricia Smith, 83, longtime resident of Guilford, passed away at the Madison House Sept. 6. Mary Patricia was born in Stamford on Feb. 28, 1934, daughter of the late John William Dunn and Edna Hone Dunn.

She was the mother of Kelly (Kevin) Kane of Madison, Sara (Tony) Palladino of Warren, Paul (Theresa) Smith of Vail, Colorado, Patrick Smith of Florida, and the late Glenn Davis Smith. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, John William Dunn.

Friends were invited to call at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St., Guilford, Sept. 12. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St., Guilford. Burial followed in St. George Cemetery, Hubbard Road, Guilford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SARAH Foundation, 246 Goose Ln., Ste. #104, Guilford, CT 06437.
