Joseph Salvatore Federico, 82, of North Haven died peacefully on Aug. 31 at the West Haven Veterans Hospital in the Hospice Unit. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen Federico for 41 years. Joe was born on Aug. 10, 1935, in New York, son of the late Salvatore and Liberta Federico.

Joe had resided in North Haven for the past 50 years. Joe was a professional photographer for 57 years. The Max Sinoway baseball league honored him with the Andrew Milano III Memorial Award for outstanding service and dedication for thirty years. He was also a huge fan of the New York Yankees.

Joe is survived by his wife Kathie, his daughter Danielle (Clint Walker), and his granddaughter, who filled his heart with love, Zoe.
