Branford

Natalie Yerxa Walsh of Branford died on Aug. 14 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She is survived by her longtime companion David Marsh of Branford; her stepsons Peter Marsh of Shelton and Daniel Marsh (Tina) of Newtown; and her step-grandchildren Ethan, Devin, and Ella Marsh. Natalie was born in Hamden on June 10, 1933, a daughter of Herbert and Lillian Yerxa.

She was a graduate of Hamden High School and Green Mountain College. She was a legal secretary for Attorney Donald Stevens in Branford. In addition to being a longtime resident of Branford, she enjoyed her winters in Jensen Beach, Florida. Natalie had a great sense of humor and always kept her family laughing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was an animal lover and enjoyed feeding the birds.

A memorial gathering will take place on Aug. 20 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 N. Main St., Branford. Burial will be private. Please see her online memorial at www.wsclancy.com.
