East Haven

Louis A. Crisci, Sr., 92, of East Haven, beloved husband of the late Carmel DeCusati Crisci, passed away on June 10in Yale-New Haven Hospital. Louis was born in New Haven on Sept. 26, 1924, son of the late Carmine and Angela Morgillo Crisci.

He was the loving father of Angela (Kevin) Medley of Georgia, Lois (Matthew) Lyons of Branford, Roseann Crisci of Guilford, Theresa (Gabe Casubolo) Crisci of Branford, Christine Buono, and Louis A. (Cristina) Crisci, Jr., all of East Haven; and Alesandra Venee of Port Jefferson, Long Island. He was the grandfather of Austin (Bryna) Dziurgot, Cameron Dziurgot, Louis P. Crisci, and Joseph and Julia Crisci; and the great-grandfather of Davin and Bowyn Dziurgot. He was the brother of Alesandra (Everett) Nichols and Ann Marie Marher, all of Branford; Lucy Ahern of North Haven; and the late Carmel Tierney, Rosina Hunt, and Pasquale, Anthony, and Edward Crisci.

Prior to his retirement Louis was the owner of Interstate Beef Company.

His funeral procession left the Porto Funeral Home, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven, June 15. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Therese Church (Branford). Interment followed in St. Agnes Cemetery. Friends called June 14.
